Privacy Policy

This policy explains how FraudShield SMB handles information when you use our AI business protection and operations workspace and when you connect services such as Gmail, QuickBooks, and Stripe.

Effective date: August 31, 2026

1. Overview

FraudShield SMB (“FraudShield,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides an AI-assisted workspace that helps small businesses review fraud and risk signals, understand financial activity, organize business information, and identify items that may need attention.

We aim to collect and use only the information reasonably necessary to provide the features you choose to use.

2. Information we collect

3. Connected services

Gmail

If you connect Gmail, FraudShield may read email metadata and message content needed for features such as fraud-risk review, payment-request review, business-email analysis, and Business Pulse. If you explicitly use FraudShield's email cleanup feature, FraudShield may also move selected messages to Trash using the permissions you granted.

QuickBooks

If you connect QuickBooks, FraudShield may access accounting information such as company details, accounts, purchases or expenses, invoices, payments, balances, vendors, and related financial records needed to provide the features you request.

Stripe

If you connect Stripe, FraudShield may access information such as connected-account status, balances, payments, failed payments, refunds, disputes, and payment intents for business analysis and reconciliation features.

Cross-source analysis

When multiple services are connected, FraudShield may combine available data from those services to generate review signals, summaries, reconciliation suggestions, and recommendations. These signals are informational and are not proof of fraud or accounting error.

You control your integrations. Connecting Gmail, QuickBooks, or Stripe is optional. You may disconnect an integration through FraudShield where available or through the third-party provider's own account settings.

4. Google user data

FraudShield's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Google user data is used only to provide or improve user-facing features that are prominent in FraudShield, such as reviewing emails for business-risk signals, analyzing payment-related messages, showing recent Gmail activity, and performing user-requested email cleanup actions.

We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to create advertising profiles. We do not permit humans to read Google user data except when necessary for security, support, legal compliance, or when you have explicitly requested and consented to that access.

5. How we use information

6. AI processing

To generate AI responses, content you submit or authorize FraudShield to analyze may be transmitted to third-party AI and infrastructure providers acting as service providers on our behalf. We use those providers to operate FraudShield and do not sell your conversations, uploaded documents, QuickBooks information, Stripe information, or Google user data to advertisers.

AI-generated results may be incomplete or inaccurate. FraudShield does not treat an AI result or heuristic review signal as a definitive finding of fraud, missing funds, legal compliance, tax treatment, or accounting error.

7. How we share information

We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate FraudShield, including hosting, database, authentication, AI-processing, payment-processing, security, and infrastructure providers. These providers receive information only as reasonably necessary to perform services for FraudShield.

We may also disclose information where required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of FraudShield, our users, or others.

We do not sell personal information, connected-account data, or Google user data.

8. Data storage and retention

FraudShield may store account information, conversation history, connected-account identifiers, OAuth tokens or similar credentials, billing records, and user-generated content for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.

Connected-service access credentials are intended to be used only by FraudShield's backend systems to operate integrations. Disconnecting a service stops future FraudShield access through that connection, subject to provider behavior and any records FraudShield must retain for security, billing, or legal purposes.

9. Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including authentication, access controls, database row-level security, private storage, server-side credential handling, and restricted backend access. No system can guarantee absolute security.

10. Your choices and deletion requests

When a valid deletion request is completed, we will delete or de-identify applicable personal information unless retention is required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, billing, or other legitimate purposes.

11. Children's privacy

FraudShield is designed for business users and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as FraudShield changes. When we make material changes, we will post the revised policy on this page and update the effective date.

13. Contact

For privacy questions, account-deletion requests, or questions about connected-service data, contact FraudShield through the support channel available on fraudshieldsmb.com.
